These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Vitality & Health (referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “us”) and the users (referred to as “Client”, “you”) of the website massagessofia.com (“the Website”) and of the massage and therapy services offered through it at our studio in Sofia, Bulgaria.

By browsing the Website, submitting an inquiry, completing a health questionnaire, or booking an appointment through our online booking platform (Fresha), by phone, or by email, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

Vitality & Health offers massage and relaxation/recovery body therapies performed by qualified massage therapists at our studio in Sofia. The full list of therapies offered, their duration, and prices are published on the “Therapies” page of the Website and may be updated from time to time.

3. Booking an Appointment

  • Appointments can be booked through our online booking system (Fresha), available via the Website, by phone, or through the contact form/email.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once you receive confirmation from us (automatically from the booking system or personally from a staff member).
  • The Client agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information when booking (name, phone number, selected therapy, preferred time).
  • We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your scheduled time to allow time to change and, on your first visit, to complete a short health questionnaire.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or in case of a no-show, the Company reserves the right to charge a fee of up to 50% of the value of the booked therapy, or to retain any deposit paid, where applicable.
  • If a Client arrives late, the duration of the therapy may be shortened so as not to affect subsequent bookings, without reducing the price due.
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment for objective reasons (therapist illness, force majeure, etc.), and will promptly notify the Client and offer an alternative time.

5. Health Conditions and Contraindications

Before their first therapy session, Clients are asked to complete a brief health questionnaire/declaration. The Client agrees to inform the therapist of:

  • pregnancy;
  • cardiovascular, skin, or oncological conditions;
  • recent surgery, injuries, fractures, or sprains;
  • allergies (including to oils, lotions, or fragranced products);
  • any other health condition that may constitute a contraindication to massage.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a therapy session if there is a risk to the Client’s health, or if the information provided in the health questionnaire is incomplete or inaccurate. The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the health information provided.

6. Nature of Services – Important Notice

The services offered by Vitality & Health are relaxation and recovery massage therapies and do not constitute medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy under applicable health regulations. Our therapists are not physicians and do not provide medical diagnoses. Clients with a health concern should consult a doctor before booking a massage.

7. Prices and Payment

  • All therapy prices are listed in Bulgarian leva (BGN), including VAT where applicable, and are published on the Website.
  • The Company reserves the right to change prices at any time; such changes will not affect already-confirmed bookings.
  • Payment is made at the studio – in cash or by card via POS terminal – unless online payment or a deposit has been agreed in advance at the time of booking.

8. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers offered through the Website may be purchased for a specific therapy or for a fixed monetary value.
  • Vouchers are valid for the period stated on the voucher itself (by default, from the date of purchase, unless otherwise indicated).
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for their cash value, except as required by law.
  • When booking with a voucher, the voucher code/number must be provided at the time of booking.

9. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable consumer-protection law, the right of withdrawal from distance contracts does not apply to services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance (as is the case with a booked therapy appointment). Cancellation terms are governed by Section 4 above.

10. Conduct at the Studio

We ask clients to observe the studio’s hygiene requirements, to arrive calm and sober, and to treat staff and other clients with respect. The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in the event of unacceptable behavior, without any obligation to refund payment for the unperformed portion of the service.

11. Liability

The Company takes reasonable care to ensure therapies are performed professionally and to a high standard. The Company is not liable for:

  • harm resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client in the health questionnaire;
  • allergic or other reactions arising from health conditions or allergies not disclosed prior to the session;
  • lost or forgotten personal belongings at the studio.

12. Personal Data Protection

Personal data (including health questionnaire data and booking data) is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website – text, images, logo, and design – is the property of Vitality & Health or is used with proper authorization, and is protected under applicable copyright law. Copying or distribution without permission is prohibited.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page, along with the date of the last update. Continued use of the Website and services after any changes are published constitutes acceptance of those changes.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

Any matters not covered by these Terms shall be governed by applicable Bulgarian law. Disputes will be resolved by mutual agreement where possible; otherwise, they fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Bulgaria, or may be submitted to the relevant consumer protection authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
